Robert Emmets beaten by champions
Wednesday, October 27th, 2021The Newmarket and Lismire combination, Robert Emmets, lost out to St. Peters at the semi final stage of the Central Sports Duhallow 21A football championship, on Monday night last, the 18th of October. Trailing by three points at half time, 1-06 to 1-09, a strong second half by St. Peters, saw them win out 2-10 to 2-18.
St. Peter’s went on to clinch the title against Kanturk a week later, in an exciting final played in Newmarket, 3-09 to 1-13 after extra time. Congratulations to St. Peter’s on their victory.
