Dreadful playing conditions for this Division 2 football league clash lead to a low scoring encounter as Macroom ran out winners on a score line Macroom 0-10 V Newmarket 0-07. The game was played Sunday Feb 10th in Tom Creedon Park Macroom.

Newmarket’s under 21 football team were defeated by a strong Macroom side in the County semi final played at Banteer on Wednesday evening by 1-11 to 0-6.
