The Newmarket junior A footballers travelled to Kiskeam on Wednesday night, to take on the home side, in their second match of the league.

The home-side started brightly, with the first three scores of the contest. Despite some nice points from Newmarket, Kiskeam showed their eye for goal and took a handsome 0-03 to 3-05 lead, into the break.

The second period proved to be a much more even contest, with both sides adding seven points to their interval total. The damage had been done in the first 30 minutes though, with Kiskeam securing the league points, on a final scoreline of 0-10 to 3-12.
