Junior Bs lose out to Rockchapel

Newmarket’s Junior B footballers played host to Rockchapel in Round 1 of the Duhallow championship, on Sunday the 5th of September.

The visitors had much the brighter start and dispite points from TJ Bodie and Robert Stack, Rockchapel lead 0-03 to 1-06 at the first water break. During the next quarter, Rockchapel added another brace of points, to hold a strong half time lead, 0-03 to 1-08.

A Robert Stack goal just after the break ignited Newmarket’s challenge and it was quickly followed up by a 45 from Shane McAuliffe minutes later.
