Newmarket lose to Éire Óg in league opener
In a game that was evenly poised throughout Newmarket trailed Éire Óg by a point at half time on a scoreline of 1-04 to 1-05 after playing against the breeze.
In the second half scores were hard to come by and Éire Óg held out to win on a scoreline of 1-07 to 2-07. The game was played Sunday Feb 2nd in Ovens.
