Newmarket GAA Club is organising a scrap metal collection weekend on Friday evening July 15th, from 7pm to 9pm and Saturday, July 16th from 10am to 4pm at Newmarket GAA Grounds.

Bring all your unwanted scrap metal, batteries, old tractors and farm machinery, scrap cars, copper, electrical goods, motors, etc, and dispose of them for free. By doing so you will help the club to raise funds.

Fridges, freezers, timber or plastic will NOT be accepted. Further information available from club committee members.

A battling Newmarket team succumbed to a stronger and more clinical Freemount side in the final quarter of the EPS Bison Duhallow Junior Hurling Championship encounter played at Lismire on Friday night, in a game which ended 2-15 to 2-10.
