Newmarket GAA Club are extremely grateful to local rugby star and former player Tony Buckley, who has presented the club with a Munster rugby jersey signed by the squad that won the historic Heineken European Cup final.
Newmarket maintained their fine winning sequence in the Ducon Cup with a fourth successive victory at home to Kanturk by 2-12 to 1-6 in slippery damp conditions at Newmarket on Sunday.
Newmarket GAA invites members, friends and supporters to come along to the GAA club rooms on Friday, May 18th to review work completed over the past six months and to preview plans for the next six months. All are more than welcome.
Club membership for the year is closing on June 4th. Membership is €25 for adults and €15 for students.
Only club members are eligible to apply for inter county game tickets. Membership can be paid to any member of the committee.
